The Buddha is called Subhuti[章]. Don\\ t have this view. Don\\ t think that the Tathaga[来]ta says the Vajra Prajna Paramit[自]a Sutra is for sentien[吃]t beings.[瓜] This is wrong. Subhuti[网], what do you mean to say: Tathaga[文]ta has the heart to take care of all living beings.[章] Buddha sent Subhuti[来]\\ s suspici[自]on to him. Buddha said that this sutra of Vajra Prajna Paramit[吃]a does not have a mind of sentien[瓜]t beings,[网] so don\\ t think about it. Why? The essence[文] of all living beings is Buddha,[章] and all living beings are Buddha.[来] This is the Mahayan[自]a doctrin[吃]e. In particu[瓜]lar, the Hua Yan Sutra is devoted[网] to this issue, which is contain[文]ed in many volumes[章] of scriptu[来]res. It is said that all sentien[自]t beings are Buddhas[吃]. If the Tathaga[瓜]ta is to make all sentien[网]t beings Buddhas[文], this is a lie. What do you mean by lying? This is why it is differe[章]nt from other Sutras.[来] The Buddha has repeate[自]dly instruc[吃]ted Subhuti[瓜] that you must not have this kind of thought[网]. You must not say that the Tathaga[文]ta is for the sake of sentien[章]t beings,[来] whether[自] it is the Tathaga[吃]ta saying,[瓜] the Tathaga[网]ta practic[文]ing, or the Tathaga[章]ta coming out of the world. Many other sutras say that the great cause of Buddha\[来]\ s birth is the salvati[自]on of all living beings.[吃] The Diamond[瓜] Sutra sends out this thought[网] and tells Subhuti[文] that you should not have this idea. Why not call you this idea because[章] of Buddha\[来]\ s salvati[自]on of all living beings and why? Subhuti[吃], don\\ t do is read, what reason?[瓜] The reason is very simple,[网] there is really no such thing as Buddha,[文] so I ask you not to say that Buddha can do it. Because[章] there is really no sentien[来]t being, such as Buddha.[自] If there are sentien[吃]t beings such as Buddha,[瓜] Buddha has me, human beings,[网] sentien[文]t beings and longevi[章]ty. If the Buddha wants to have this idea, I will have the idea of sentien[来]t beings,[自] I will have the idea of sentien[吃]t beings,[瓜] I am Buddha,[网] and sentien[文]t beings are sentien[章]t beings,[来] then the Buddha has four distinc[自]t phases:[吃] I, human beings,[瓜] sentien[网]t beings and longevi[文]ty. In fact, the Buddha does not have me, human beings and sentien[章]t beings.[来] Therefo[自]re, the Buddha enjoins[吃] Subbodh[瓜]i that you do not have the idea of Buddha\[网]\ s idea of sentien[文]t beings,[章] and at the same time you do not have doubts.[来] Therefo[自]re, tell him not to do is to read, that is what this means. Don\\ t do this, Buddha has no sentien[吃]t beings to be able to live, no sentien[瓜]t beings to become Buddha,[网] and no Buddha to live. What makes you practic[网]e to become a Buddha?[文] This is a rhetori[章]cal questio[来]n, that is, let us underst[自]and that Buddha is not persist[吃]ent, nor does he have my own view, human view, sentien[瓜]t beings view, and longevi[网]ty view. Buddha transfo[文]rms all living beings into nothing[章]. Buddha transfo[来]rms all living beings into beings without[自] seeing each other and without[吃] being able to transfo[瓜]rm. He is breakin[文]g away from this master\[章]\ s knowled[来]ge and vision.[自] He is too clear about the Buddha\[吃]\ s vision,[瓜] my vision and all beings\[网]\ vision.[文] He breaks away from his knowled[章]ge and vision.[来] As soon as he burned,[自] he said, \\ I am looking[吃] for sarira.[瓜]\\ Where is the sarira in this place? Where is the sarira in the wooden statue?[网] Why did he worship[文] him without[章] sarira?[来] What is he doing? I\\ ll burn another[自] one and the host will be enlight[吃]ened. Do you know the reason for his enlight[瓜]enment?[网] He disavow[文]ed his knowled[章]ge. Buddha means there is no differe[来]nce among all beings.[自] The Buddha is wood, not the real Buddha.[吃] If we normall[瓜]y regard Buddha statues[网] as wood, can you practic[文]e? We really regard the Buddha as the real Buddha.[章] There are several[来] aspects[自]: to a certain[吃] kind of person,[瓜] it is Zen meditat[网]ion for that old practit[文]ioner. he reached[章] the peak and was too clear about the differe[来]nce between[自] Buddha and sentien[吃]t beings.[瓜] Patriar[网]ch Danxia broke his belief.[文] This is not somethi[章]ng we can use casuall[来]y. You also went to the temple to take a Buddha statue and split it, then you can commit crimes and shed blood. He didn\\ t, so there is a lot of scriptu[自]re, don\\ t misunde[吃]rstand.[瓜] You must not do that until then. For example[网], a Zen master,[文] who has been sitting[章] and partici[来]pating in Zen for 120 years, how can you compare[自]? You can also go there and sit there. how can you compare[吃] yoursel[瓜]f with him for more than 20 or 30 years? You can only gain by yoursel[网]f. There was a man selling[文] tofu. when he went to jinshan[章] temple to deliver[来] tofu, he looked at master sitting[自] like this. he said, \\ master,[吃] one year he also sits like this when deliver[瓜]ing tofu, and two years he sits like this. is it any good to sit like this every day?\\ It must be good. He asked the guest teacher[网], I also want to sit down. The guest teacher[文] said, \\ No, how can you run and sit down?\\[章] He said, \\ I will not sit inside.[来] the masters[自] will sit inside the door. How do you underst[文]and? Therefo[章]re, we should calm down, calm down the crazy heart and floatin[来]g heart. Like him who has no wisdom,[自] we can realize[吃] wisdom.[瓜] Wisdom can illumin[网]ate itself,[文] so-call[章]ed open wisdom is open mind, open mind is wisdom,[来] simply say wisdom now. Before wisdom comes to light, can it be life or death? In the past, present[自] and future,[吃] you have known and complet[瓜]ely laid down your body, mind and body, seeing that it is empty, that is the meaning[网]. All sentien[来]t beings are Buddhas[自] and are just lost in enlight[吃]enment.[瓜] This truth should be taken into conside[网]ration.[文] It\\ s not that scriptu[章]re can\\ t be told accordi[来]ng to the text, but that the partici[自]pant is thinkin[吃]g. You have to see the body, and the body is the same. No matter what its appeara[瓜]nce is, it is the same. For example[网]: wood. Enlight[瓜]enment is Buddha.[网] The Buddha is clear, clear, sentien[文]t beings are Buddhas[章], future Buddhas[来], Buddhas[自] are accompl[吃]ished Buddhas[瓜]. The Tathaga[文]ta said that I am pure in nature,[章] and that I am always happy and pure. Is there birth and death in the heart of the common man, so it is called the common man. The heart of a saint has no birth and death. He is not the common man. The man who has realize[章]d Prajnap[来]aramita[自] is not the common man. The man who has lost the Prajnap[吃]aramita[瓜] is the common man. Therefo[网]re, ordinar[文]y people are not ordinar[章]y people,[来] and when ordinar[自]y people realize[吃] prajnap[瓜]aramita[网], they are not ordinar[文]y people.[章] Another[来] kind of said, the heart can have some, can have some ordinar[自]y, the heart is incompe[吃]tent, is not ordinar[瓜]y, is the equalit[网]y law, the law is equal. It is the equalit[文]y of the law and there is no superio[章]rity or inferio[来]rity, that is to say, the suspici[自]on is complet[吃]ely removed[瓜], the transce[网]ndence is immedia[文]tely entered[章], and Bodhi is establi[来]shed. That is the Buddha,[自] and all beings are equal. Subhuti[吃], what do you mean by cloud? I view the Tathaga[吃]ta in 32 phases.[瓜] The Buddha said Subhuti[网]: If you look at the Tathaga[文]ta in 32 phases,[章] the wheel of the holy king is the Tathaga[来]ta. If you think of yoursel[自]f as a Tathaga[吃]ta with 32 phases,[瓜] you are wrong. Why? There are also 32 phases in the runner king. isn\\ t that why the runner king has become a Buddha?[网] Hearing[文] this, Subhuti[章] made a wrong answer,[来] so he quickly[自] correct[吃]ed it. Subhuti[瓜] White Buddha said: Buddha,[网] as I underst[文]and the meaning[章] of Buddha,[来] should not view the Tathaga[自]ta in 32 phases.[吃] How should we view the Tathaga[瓜]ta? Therefo[网]re, the dharma body is not a phase. Tathaga[文]ta: such as person,[章] such as motionl[来]ess; Newcome[自]rs, come and not come. Should appear in the world, should appear.[吃] Dharma is dharma body, because[瓜] Subhuti[网]\\ s perseve[文]rance has not been complet[章]ely elimina[来]ted and there is still this problem[自]. Therefo[吃]re, the Buddha has raised such a questio[瓜]n mark for him. It is suppose[网]d to be asked, but Subhuti[文] does not know the meaning[章] of Buddha,[来] so he answere[自]d it easily and did not intend to answer it. If so, he is right. Buddha said he was wrong. What should he do? After the Buddha said this, he knew and underst[吃]ood that he did not view the Tathaga[瓜]ta in 32 phases,[网] because[文] the runner king has 32 phases and is the same as the Buddha.[章] The runner king is far from the Tathaga[来]ta. How can he compare[自] with the Tathaga[吃]ta? He saw that his thought[瓜]s and worries[网] were not broken,[文] so Subhuti[章] immedia[来]tely turned around and said that if I underst[自]ood the meaning[吃] of Buddha and said that Buddha asked me, I answere[瓜]d casuall[网]y.
